What I plan to do to make sure she doesn't wander away from camp (it is black bear territory) is put her on a long tie out. That way she can move about the whole campsite, but I won't have to worry about her running off somewhere. She sleeps in her crate, so we'll just bring it and she can sleep in her crate in the tent.

That's what we do, we keep both Bella & Lucee on long tie's attached to the camper so we don't have to worry about them wondering off while we're hanging around at camp. They do great.
