We got Lexie at 12 weeks and she didn't bark for the first week we had her because she had giardia and was very sick. On Christmas day we took her to the emergency vet, he gave her three shots and some antibiotics and within the hour she was a completely different puppy. We went back to my grandparents house and she walked right in and woofed to let everyone know she was back and feeling better. It was the most blessed sound a new mother could hear. I was so worried about her and it was a sign that she was going to get better.
We didn't get Tucker until 5 months old, but I'm pretty sure he was born barking
