 Silky coat or cottony coat??
I posted a thread a few days ago about my dogs hair looking like a greaseball 1 day after a bath. So today as I was searching some other posts I noticed a lot of threads asking about greasy coats. I also noticed people stating that some dogs have cottony coats and some have silky coats, what is the difference? I was once told by a silky breeder that yorkies and silkys are two types different dogs, is that what is meant when saying cottony or silky coats? I am confused, my Bia looks like a yorkie pup, she has all the same color markings as most do, but because her hair is greasy looking does that mean she is not a yorkie but a silky terrier? |
