I have a cat with terrible food allergies, and she is finally doing so well since I switched her to Nature's Variety raw rabbit medallions. Yes, it is expensive but it is definitely worth it to me because her hair has grown back, she's healthy, and she's not scratching herself to bleed anymore. There are grain-free kibbles and canned food you can try such as Nature's Variety Instinct...most exotic protein sources are going to be expensive though. The raw rabbit costs me about $35 a month for my cat (she gets 3 medallions per day)
