Don't worry, Betty's Mom...... everyone reacts differently to meds!! I am taking 150's - Synthroid. I have had part of my thyroid removed. It took me several YEARS to get on the right dose..... my levels kept going up and down. I had some dizziness and also was so tired that I would get home from work and collapse on the couch until it was time to go to bed.
After being on it for awhile, I also found out that my blood pressure had slowly increased...... not sure if it was due to age, heredity, or having metabolism probs due to hypothyroidism.
Go back to the doc.... you may want to see an endocronologist ..... and have your blood work done frequently until you KNOW that you are on the correct dose. I also had issues with the generic meds..... and take nothing but synthroid. It has helped.
Good Luck to you....... havng thyroid probs is no picnic.... but with good med regulation, you will do fine!!!
Hugs!
