I totally understand the spot you're in. I had no intentions of getting a Yorkie puppy, but my girlfriend got him w/out telling the landlord first. LOL
She comes in all upset. My husband has been out of work since January,and financially it wasn't the best time. I have my 12 yr old mini daschund, three cats and 2 teens!!!! But I had a hysterectomy a year ago,and I was having baby fever,or withdrawl??? Anyway, I took in this puppy,and if you had asked my husband about it a week ago , he would have said NO WAY!!! Now...he comes home at lunch to lets him out, buys him toys and a new plush bed.
Takes him outside when he's puttering in the garage. When you present it to the family,the negative response will be temporary....Good Luck!!! Let us know.
