I always get asked that as well because of Gus's size. He only grew to be 2.9 lbs and me being totally clueless about breeding, I thought he would need a female his size to even reach her. LOL,,, I know stupid ha. But when I did all my research about yorkies, it was just to learn about the care of and the history of. Breeding never did come to mind till after he had already been fixed. Gus came with papers and all but I All I wanted was a pet to love and spoil. I had him fixed at 6 monthes and soon after I thought it may have been a mistake in doing so. But after doing more research about breeding I am very glad with my decision. Good luck with your decision. Just make sure you do all your homework and know all the pro's and con's about it.
