Dogs seem to LOVE cat poop for some reason so it's important to try and keep them out of the litterbox. I recommend keeping the box somewhere the dogs can't get to, getting an automatic litterbox so they can't get to the waste, and trying hard to train your dog to stay out of the litterbox. Covered litterboxes help too. I also don't use clay litter as I feel like it's not very healthy for the cats because of the dust and could be dangerous if the cats or dogs eat it. I use Nature's Miracle which is made from corn cobs. There are a lot of non-clay litters out there that are made from corn, wheat, paper, etc. Good Luck...I know the dog and litterbox thing can be a huge pain in the butt
