I work from 8 - 5 and my boys are home alone during the day. Maybe you can get Leo a playmate so hes not so alone for so long? I don't think you need to rehome him in this situation. Just make sure hes safe where he is while you are gone and before and after work and on weekend give him lots of attention and love
