I work from 7-3.30 and my job sometimes requires me to stay late. What do i do???I want to keep him.I wish i could bring him to work.I've been crying every night and holding him.And i think he can sense my sadness.
I get up at 5am and let him out, feed him, play with him and then put him back in his pen at 6.30 when i have to leave. In his pen he has his crate, water and toys.
Please give me some advice |
don't give him up!

i think what you're doing is fine because it's what i do! lol. Kash turned 5 months old this past saturday, so you and i have similar situations.
i work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F, and sometimes have to stay a little later in the summer time... i keep Kash in a rectangular play pen (about 2 feet wide by 4 feet long) with his toys, food/water, crate and pee pad. he always pees on the pad (never in his crate or on the floor), and he holds his poop until i come home and take him outside. of course, he's overly excited when i walk through the door, and i'm not sure what he does during the day while i'm gone, but i'm sure he just sleeps or plays with his toys. i know he eats and pees (lol) because his food bowl is always emptier than when i left it, and the pee pad is yellow, instead of white. i wake up at around 6 a.m. and put him in his pen between 7:15 - 7:30 a.m.
i think what you are doing is fine because at least you're not keeping him in tiny crate all day. he has room to walk, pee, etc.
this is just my opinion because i know how you feel. i wish i didn't have to leave Kash at home alone all day, but so far he's doing fine. he's healthy and energetic (especially after being in his pen all day)...
good luck! let us know what you decide to do.
