I didn't really know how to respond so I laughed hysterically, which is how I handle most things in life. I told the waiter and ultimately we ended up with free lunch, free desserts and a $50 gift certificate.

That would have made me sick. I am not a fussy eater, but when I find something STRANGE in my food it makes me ill immediately. Once I found a huge staple in my sauteed spinach at the Union Cafe in NYC. I got a free dessert - but at that point I didn't want it anyway.
A glove - that's disgusting!!
