I dont think all people are like that. I have always had larger dogs, most of which have been the dobies. I treat them just like I do any other dog. They are inside dogs, (only go out to go pee and play) sleep on my couch and bed with me , Jerry and Bridget, trust me this get a bit hard at times. I feed them great dog food, it is made of food grade meats and veggies. Spoil them rotten with toys and treats, trust me Scarlet actully gets more toys than Bridget because she destroyes them quicker. And I love them just as much. Now I do not dress her, the one time I did buy her something she looked at me with eyes that said, ok are we done now, this is soooo stupid! I would also never , ever leave her in a car. I know some people just dont do that, and yes I agree it is wrong, unfortunatly no where is there a law that says they cant tie them up outsde or has to feed them great food. In fact I am always yelling at people about dog food. Here many feed their dogs the SAMs Choice brands at Walmart. There is NO, i repeat no nutriional value at all in that food. I cannot believe they can even sell it! But htey do, and there is nothing I can do except try to inform them, sadly many just tell me to mind my own buisness.
