Denali broke at her shoulders and thighs by 8 months and is gradually breaking down her back now. It's not sudden with a line of demarcation like Connor and Preston did but is so subtle that you can't tell where the black ends and the deep, dark blue begins. I heard that judges used to wear black watch bands so that they could make sure that dark yorkies weren't black. You'd have to do that with Denali (she's 12 months old ) or look at her out in the sunshine. She's my husband's love and a joy to have around so even if she doesn't fully break, she isn't going anywhere.
