This happened to me last year. My pap showed atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS). So I had the biopsy done he said they were pre-cancerous cells, and ended up having to have a colposcopy. I went back for my 6 month exam in January and had a good pap... I have to have 3 good ones before they will put me back on the year to year. So for now, I'll be violated an extra time a year. I was also worried, but everything went ok. Actually my 65 year old Grandma just had the same thing that I had done a couple of months ago. She was scared too. But don't worry! If you have any questions you can pm me!
