aawww, it should be fine. do you know if it was low, medium or high grade abnormalities? many many MANY women go through this. if it is low grade there is a very good chance that it will go away on its own. in most people the high grade can even go away on its own or once a LEEP procedure is done to remove the abnormal cells, it usually is gone for good too!

the biopsy varys for everyone, but i didnt feel any pain. i had a little bit of discharge but no pain. the LEEP was a little more painful, but still not too bad. in more cases than not the biopsy will show low grade changes which are really nothing to worry about.

i was a very unique case because i have a blod disorder and a very low white blood cell count so it progressed to cancer within a few months for me, but for most people, even if they have high grade dysplasia it would take years for it to change to cancer if left untreated. abnormal cells are very treatable with little discomfort!

i found a lot of information on healthboards.com when i was going through the same thing.

please PM me if you have any questions! i know what you are going through and it is a scary time, but PLEASE know that this is going to be ok and it is soooo good that you found this out very early!
