You do need to make sure that you have enough money to feed, groom and give appropriate medical care also though. Be sure you completely think it out and make sure you are ready for all of the responsibilites. You do not want to rescue a pup only to realize you can't take care of all of it's needs and have to give it back into rescue. Good Luck with your search!
