If one were to uncheck the Friends box, your former "friend" will also have their "Friends" box with your username unchecked, thus you each have one less friend. And that would be sad... But if you want to try it with admin, feel free to.
It is not possible to send something as a group at this time. One potential problem is spam, of which we had a few cases of recently (just being sent one by one). It would certainly break the server if you were to send messages to all of your 30 friends at one time.
