Gizmo did fast for 12 hours before the test. I could not give him anything after 8 pm, and he had the test first thing the next morning at the vets office. It took two or three days to get the results back, after that his appt was set up at U.T. Gizmo weighted 3 LBS when he had the surgery. I really dont know how small they can be before they are too small. I would make sure the vet was really experienced before letting them ahold of my baby. If there is liver problems that raises the risks when given many types of medications or sediations. |
