I know how you feel. I don't have roses but I do have a gorgeous Plum tree that is infested with aphids this year. My best friend has them all on her roses. Since they are on my tree, they are now transferring to my other plants. I have Callas and have never had a problem with them other than Japanese beetles. Now my Callas have aphids.

I talked with a guy at a nursery today and he recommended that I try pamolive liquid dish detergent mixed with water....because I am too afraid of the poisions, like malathion. He said to spray the tree in the evening and to rinse it the next day. I am going to do that to all my plants. I will do the ground plants with a spray bottle and the tree with a hose that has an attachment that mixes the contents with water.

I will post the results when we are done. I want it done NOW but my husband seems to be in no hurry. Maybe I will try to do it myself?
