The only problem is that they were together several times a day BEFORE the 1st time I caught them in the "tie". And my Mom, who own the female, started noticing her nipples getting swollen and her sides getting bigger, BEFORE the first time we caught them. When we caught them in the "tie" it all made sense that she must have been in Heat and that she may have already been pregnant. Then about a week and a half later, the dogs snook out and got together, and before we knew it they were "tied" again. I was very upset at this point because I was afraid that she would now conceive ANOTHER puppy. BUT it was about a week and a half after the 1st tie. Is it possible for her to have gotten pregnant again that long after? Do you think we should use about a week before we caught them in the 1st tie as the expected due date and get X-Rays according to that date? Or should we use the date of the first time we actually saw the "tie"? Do you think she may have conceived a puppy when they were "tied" a week and a half later?
Thank you so much and I know it is confusing, but I appreciate any help you can give me. I just want to make sure I am using the right date to schedule the X-Rays for.
