No they don't stretch, at least not the ones that I buy!! I love them, they are easy to attach and they are light wear for her... When she wears tanks I have to cut a hole in the back for the harness, so the harness vest is so much better!! Of course Roxi is a little tiny thing, so she doesn't pull much!! But there is no spandex or stretchy material in them at all!!! And they wash well too!!
