My babies have never had any issues eating the raw...they definitely gobble it right up. I feed them twice a day: once when we wake up and once in the evening. If they ever decide not to eat one of their meals, I'll put it back in the fridge and offer it at the next meal.
I think you really need to keep your dog on a schedule. If he doesn't eat breakfast..don't keep offering it to him throughout the day until he will eat. Just try again at the evening meal time. When he's hungry, he will eat. I really recommend not continueing to offer it throughout the day...have designated meal times. If he doesn't eat at a meal, he doesn't get a chance to eat until the next meal. They'll eat when they are hungry and know that they must eat at meal time or it's gone until the next time.
Also, some dogs are pickier than others..he may not like beef or chicken or is bored with it. Rotate protein sources. I'm alternating venison and lamb each day. But again...if they are hungry they'll eat. Dogs will not starve themselves to death.
About the runny poop..I'd have a fecal done to check for parasites or worms. You never know. You could give a teaspoon of canned pumpkin once a day. It's a natural regulator and helps with both constipation and diarrhea.
