Pop-up ads are ads that display in a new browser window. There are absolutely no ads on YorkieTalk which open up another browser window and there never have been. We do have ads from Google and a few other advertising agencies on YorkieTalk. Ads help offset server and hosting costs and help keep YorkieTalk alive. YorkieTalk would simply not be possible without ads.
Which ads are you referring to? If they are green colored links, we have posted a way to disable them here:
