I have two cats and two yorkies. I got them in this order: cat (Kira), yorkie (Lacy), cat (Sophie), yorkie (Rylie). For the most part they all get along pretty well. My older cat, Kira, isn't very friendly and is pretty timid, and Lacy tends to chase her a lot. Rylie and my older cat do fine together because Rylie doesn't mess with her. Lacy and Rylie get along great! The two cats get along really well for the most part..they respect each others space. Lacy and my younger cat, Sophie, get along really well and will play some but Lacy usually gets too rough and Sophie will run off to get away from her. Rylie has gotten to where he's kind of jealous of Sophie and will run up to her and snap at her occassionally, but he doesn't do this all the time. So, like I said, they all get along well for the most part...but sometimes it's a little crazy.
