I know how frustrating this can be! Are you taking him out on a leash? The first couple of weeks I had Lola home, I was taking her out without a leash and not having much luck. I then did some research and tried the "crate training method" which seems to be working a little better. The only problem with us is that even though Lola will go outside, she will come right in and go again! I know she is still young - 16 weeks - but you hear of all of these others that are having such better luck and it makes you wonder what you are doing wrong. Lola seems to catch on, then the next day it is as though she forgets everything. Maybe these smaller babies have a harder time. How small is your baby? I think we have no choice but to keep trying and to follow any advice that anyone with more experience wants to pass on!!! |
