It is amazing how much power Oprah has. After her show, rescues around the country had record highs in inquiries and adoptions! She also featured a rescue called "angels gate" , which is the story of a former nurse who homes over 200 severely handicapped dogs. These dogs were in REALLY bad shape, mostly because of abuse at mills. She gives them lots of love, even makes little wheelchairs and walkers for them so that they can get around, and gives them medical attention 24-hours a day. It was so touching.
