Many of the premium foods are for all-life stages, which means they meet the requirements for puppies as well. NV Prairie foods have grains and lower protein. Instinct is grain-free and high protein, and their kibble is actually coated with freeze-dried raw so it is 3% raw. The raw is the best choice in my opinion...it is grain free, and I raw is the way dogs were designed to be fed. Raw food is in its most natural and healthy form with the most nutritional benefits...no fillers. I've been feeding NV raw for two years now with great results.
