Jersey is a year old and she is almost potty trained but will have accidents. Truthfully, (I know I may open a can of worms with this) but I think that very few Yorkies are 100 percent potty trained. I'm finding that with mine.

I don't think that is the norm for most Yorkies. I think it depends on the individual Yorkie and how well you work with them. Some have to work during the day and it makes training a little bit harder. I am a SAHM and that makes it a LOT easier. My grandmother on the other hand has a 5 year old Yorkie that does NOT listen and pretty much does what he wants in and out of the house. I blame that on my grandmother. She was never consistent with training and it shows now. Had he been in my house things would have been very different. Diesel was paper trained at 9 weeks when I brought him home. By 6 months he was housebroken. He had a few accidents in the beginning here and there but that soon stopped. He is going on 3 and is 100% housebroken. He will even come get us when he has to go out. He will jump in your lap and give you a ton of kisses and then jump down and start prancing all over. Like I said I think it depends on how you train them and the personality of the dog.
