No that does not sound funny. My little girl Sugar Bee demanded to be on our bed. When she was getting ready for have her babies I just put several wee pads with a good (viva) paper towels over them. My sister made me some cloth wee pads that can be washed in the washer and they work so good. I just change the paper towels between puppies. So that is where we will be delivering Lacey Bugs babies. Like you said just sit back and watch tv till the excitment begins
