 aggression issues...maybe?
Hey everyone!! I had a semi-scary episode with Lexie today!! She was playing too rough with Beau so he crawled up on my lap so I could protect him. I yelled at Lexie and she didn't stop so I pushed her away from him. I thought she was just playing rough with him, but it started to look like she was TRYING to hurt him. She wouldn't stop coming at him. I grabbed her snout so she would stop biting and she showed AGGRESSION! She grabbed my hand with her nails and tried to scratch my hand away and she started growling. I actually have scratch marks in my hand right now! I was so shocked that I just pulled my hand away and stared at her! I didn't know what to do! Now she is sleeping at my feet right next to Beau like everything is okay.
We are going to a canine behaviorist/trainer in 2 weeks, so that should help with her thinking she is the alpha. What should I do?!? |
