Oh my gosh....I say go for the boy maltese. Three of my friends have boy malteses and they are (I think) equally as wonderful as yorkies. My yorkie LOVES his playtime with those dogs. Yes, two of the three are barkers but not all the time just when someone comes to the door and that kind of stuff...but ask her if he is a barker....tell her to tell you all about his little personality. Have you spent much time with these dogs? How old are they?
