I love Halloween too, and it's pretty easy to find costumes for dogs; Target, Walmart, petstores, and online stores are all sources for finding costumes. In fact, YT usually has a Halloween costume contest. Trick-or-treating seems to have lost some of its popularity, and people take their children only to homes where they know the people well. It could be a good way to meet neighbors, but I wouldn't expect candy from it. If you greet children at your door with your dog, he'll probably be a barking maniac.
Joey "earns his upkeep" by being an excellent security alarm. He notifies me of the possibility of intruders before they are even close to my door. He also does tricks for treats at his morning meal. But most importantly, he is the best snuggler I've ever known. |
