How about that (can't think of the name) stuff you line drawers with (kind of a rubbery roll of stuff with holes in it) they also use it as place mats so the dishes don't slide. I put it under my doggy stairs because we have hardwood floors and the stairs kept sliding and it worked there. Sorry I don't know what it's called.
