Is it for the possible liver problems? If so, try to find a food without any poultry or meat protein because those are hardest on the liver and produce the most ammonia that can't be filtered properly through the liver therefore causing seizures, neurological symptoms and H.E. The type of protein is just as important as the amount of protein.
Vegetable, soy, dairy, egg protein are the easiest on them.
Miko was on Royal Canin Hepatic LS 14 for a long time, and he really loved it. It's by prescription only and contains about 17-18% protein on a dry matter basis, I believe. It contains higher amounts of vitamin E and zinc which they need.
What are Stewie's symptoms? UTI, crystals/stones, seizures, inappetance, etc.?
Have you joined the liver shunt and mvd group yet?
