Sorry I didn't respond earlier we have been running to a ton of different birthday parties all weekend.
Yes the pin brushes (in my opinion) are the best brushes to use on a Yorkie coat. I personally like the CC brushes because they don't have tips on the pins. Tips tend to rip out coat. These pins are straight with no tips. I would probably go for either the 27mm Pocket (a smaller length of brush but with longer pins) if you have a thicker coat, or the 20mm Oval (it has a longer handle than the pocket) would work for a thinner coat.
