Well, I just started the raw diet two days ago and my dogs are eating raw chicken bones like pros now. If the bones are not cooked, I would think that would be fine however, I thin the big femur bones are generally not good even for raw fed dogs because they are just too big. Maybe a more experienced raw feeder will come on here and explain. I did switch to the raw for several reasons, one of them being that I am hoping that it will clean my older collies teeth enough that she will not have to have it done by the vet (and she would need to be put under for that). I'm also hoping that with this diet, Zoe will never have a problem. |
