 What I did.
I would put a leash on your little one before going outside. I don't have a problem with my Yorkie darting out of the door but I did with my German Shepherd. I had her on a leash before I opened the door and told her to "wait" and I go out first. Once I get outside I tell her "come". If she tried to go before me, I just pulled the leash back (gave a "correction") It worked for me. |
