 Itching
When I got Samson about five months ago, he scratched all the time. His skin looked dry and had white flakes (dandruff)? The first vet I took him to said his skin looked okay. (I was worried that he had mites) He said that he had ear mites and gave me medicine for that, but he continued to scratch his ears and chew on his feet. I changed vets and on the first visit, they looked at his ears and said that he had a yeast infection and put him on drops twice a day. It's been about three weeks with the medication and the itching and chewing on his paws has stopped and his skin condition has improved. I think the new vet got the problem solved.
