My oldest sister uses it and she talked it up to me and said that I should give it a try, so we took a trip out to Crocker Park in Westlake Ohio and Oh my goodness I am just so Happy!!
I have very fair sensitive skin that has a yellow tint to it, even the lightest Ivory is to dark in regular foundation makeup so it's hard for it to look natural at all. I was matched with the color Fairly light and she did half of my face first so that I could see how the Bare Minerals looked and oh my goodness it blended right into my skin tone and it felt like I had nothing on my face at all!! i was a bit nervus when she went to apply the Warmth on me because the color is a very dark bronzy color, but a little bit of that buffed on to places the sun naturally hit and it looked very nice! When the other side was done up I was really amazed at how nice my skin looked! When i got home and showed my husband, He liked how it looked on me too. He said that it looked like I did not have makeup on at all just beautiful touchable skin!
So I am really happy with it and I think that it was worth the money that I spent. And the startup kits are on SALE for $60.00!! Also at Sephora they have a thing that you can join called Beauty insider and you get "perks" for when you buy from them. Also you get a birthday gift! |
Thanks for this. I am not a makeup wearer but I am going to a wedding and want to do it up a bit more. I haven't had a clue as to how to select the correct color foundation. I am going to go to the sephora store near my job and sit down and let them help me. I was going to go to Saks which is closer but they are so damn expensive.
Thanks again for the heads up. I don't mind wearing something that looks natural. I am so not into the huge amounts of makeup.
