i dont have a problem with this at all.. infact... for the first 3-4 days the ONLY time i could get pebbles to leave the whelping box to eat or go potty was when i was sitting with her puppies. shes been fine with our visitors coming in to see the babies... although no one but me or my boyfriend has picked them up.
she has been aggressive with my cat though... if he even THINKS about coming in the bedroom she starts her barking and growling.
i think its normal to want to protect them... but hopefully shell start backing off soon.
