how big is the bead? I would be concerned that it could get stuck somewhere along the way and possibly get lodged or interfere with breathing. I think I'd call the vet & see what they say. My daughter swallowed a penny when she was little & I know they had to do an x-ray to see where it was & then I had the fun task of watch for it to make it's appearance again
