Thanks everyone for the helpful info.. I have been reading it and I went and got her welping area ready.. My neighbor thinks that she is going to go any day now. Her belly has gotten alot bigger in just a week. I put tons of blankets in her xpen and made it a little smaller for her and took Stewie away from her. He wants to play alot and I don't want any of the puppies to die. I am absolutely terrified that I am going to do something wrong and cause harm to her or her babies.. I just took her temp and it was 100.5 so I don't think she is going to be ready today.. I made her a seperate welping box to put beside my bed in case she started in the middle of the night. Poor Stewie wants in there so bad with her but someone told be he would eat the puppies so I am not taking any chances.. I just prey that everything goes well.. My husband is going to bring me a stethascope home and we have the heating pad ready.. She wants to be right beside me at all times. She will not go anywhere without me which is not like her.. She is my independant one that needs noone to help her.. Could this mean that she is close or just scared? I feel so horrible that this has happened to her.. I'm such a horrible mom....If something happens to her, I will never forgive myself... |
