I started the thread about the marrow bones being so great for their teeth and how hard they are.

I just want to update this and tell you that the other day, I noticed some tiny little white pieces where Madison or Max had been chewing on one....they were very very small almost like dust, but they were sharp ended..as if it were minute pieces they'd chewed off the bone.

At the risk of sounding like a moron, after singing the praises of these (and only b/c I'd read from other vets that they were safe), I think I'd be very watchful when they're chewing on them or just not give them.

I'm so disappointed b/c they really do such a great job on their teeth! With my Madison's GI issues though, at this point, it's just not worth the risk.
