Little Purple Boy gained .8 oz. in 24 hours and held on to it all night last night! I think he is finally making up for all the nursing he needed. I swear he is attached to Ruby every time I look at him.
Did you know that puppies pick a nipple and tend to want to nurse only on that nipple? And of course, the nipples towards the tail have the most milk, so the puppies that nurse there consistently grow the fastest. Purple boy used to nurse up under mom's front legs, but now he is nursing at the tail end, just like the BIG DOGS. LOL Maybe he is a smart little guy.
