I paid $800 for Garrett, from a private seller. She's not a breeder, she bred her female just this once, because her niece wanted a yorkie real bad. The Mom had two pups, her niece got one and she put the other one [My Garrett
]up for sale. She wanted to keep him, but couldn't manage a 4th dog. She has the dad, his sister and the mom. She brought them over from Brazil I think.
I think I paid the going rate, the puppies from the pet stores cost roughly $800/on sale and up, but often come with so many problems.
