I haven't had this problem with any of my yorkies, "knock on wood" but have had it happen to one of my horses, probably from a tree branch. My vet did a stain and ointment and stitched his eyelid closed for a week. He was a one eyed bandit. Didn't slow him down abit. It should heal just fine.
