This is just me but I personally wouldn't purchase a show potential unless the breeder were a show exhibitor themselves or has bought from a show breeder and had their dog in the ring. There are circumstance where a breeder can't show their own dogs but do attend shows but has a handler show for them. And I personally wouldn't purchase one unless I knew the pedigrees and knew that the pup came from the show lines I like and have seen in the ring.
