I am sorry your thinking of rehoming your little guy...
I had to rehome my stud last fall.. I did it so when going down south as hard as it was on me. my best friend who knew him from day one would have the winter months to get him adjusted to being with her.. we are on our way home now.. and I am so anxious to see him, she is afraid I will want him back.. and I had to reasure her he was hers,, but I wanted him to be able to come to my house and play with the dogs as often as possible. like do not come over if your planning on leaving him home.. I was very lucky with how I did it.. he did not make the right stud.. and yet I loved him and with traveling I could not just have another pet.. he was kept too long with the breeder who did not socialize him well enough, so being an only child and she has not children and never will.. she was a good match for him..
I bought a yorkie who wanted to just kill my yorkies 5 years ago, I had to give her to my daughter.. so other then losing money.. I know these two yorkies are basically with family and I still see them.. makes a huge difference..
