Poor Joey! Give him some hugs! Well, oddly - Marcel's eyes have been bugging him - so I took him in and he has conjunctivitis - but the vet had to do a stain to determine whether or not she could give an ointment that contained a steroid. After the stain - she discovered a tiny little scratch on his cornea - and she said she's been seeing a ton of them lately - she thinks bc of all the dry wind lately here in AZ and flying pieces of debris/cactus (like you said). Luckily, Marcel's was so tiny that it didn't warrant anything additional, unlike Joey's. I've had a corneal scratch myself - and holy heck - they hurt unlike anything - so kudos to you for posting about this.
