I would get it just to be on the safe side. Mike and I got a black lab and she had fleas. We had to give her a few baths with special shampoo and then we had to buy the frontline. Frontline worked really well. We bought it from Petco, but it's cheaper on 1800PetMeds.com That's where we bought from this year for Legacy and Impreza.

I think it should be okay to use the whole thing. I can always check with Mike's mom tomorrow morning when I call her. She used to own a some yorkie's.
